A world of SMILE !!

About ten years ago when I was an undergraduate in college, I was working as an intern at my University's Museum of Natural History. One day while working at the cash register in the gift shop, I saw an elderly couple come in with a little girl in a wheelchair.

As I looked closer at this girl, I saw that she was kind of perched on her chair. I then realized she had no arms or legs, just a head, neck and torso. She was wearing a little white dress with red polka dots.

As the couple wheeled her up to me I was looking down at the register. I turned my head toward the girl and gave her a wink. As I took the money from her grandparents, I looked back at the girl, who was giving me the cutest, largest smile I have ever seen. All of a sudden her handicap was gone and all I saw was this beautiful girl, whose smile just melted me and almost instantly gave me a completely new sense of what life is all about. She took me from a poor, unhappy college student and brought me into her world; a world of smiles, love and warmth.

That was ten years ago. I'm a successful business person now and whenever I get down and think about the troubles of the world, I think about that little girl and the remarkable lesson about life that she taught me. (copied)

Two frogs !!

A group of frogs were traveling through the woods, and two of them fell into a deep pit. When the other frogs saw how deep the pit was, they told the two frogs that they were as good as dead. The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump up out of the pit with all their might. The other frogs kept telling them to stop, that they were as good as dead. Finally, one of the frogs took heed to what the other frogs were saying and gave up. He fell down and died.

The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die. He jumped even harder and finally made it out. When he got out, the other frogs said, “Did you not hear us?” The frog explained to them that he was deaf. He thought they were encouraging him the entire time.

Moral: There is power of life and death in the tongue. An encouraging word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make it through the day. So be careful of what you say. Speak life to those who cross your path. The power of words… it is sometimes hard to understand that an encouraging word can go such a long way.

Misjudge !!

why is this world so strange ?!
giving you a variety & a range

different people & different personalities
that you might misjudge their realities

some good & some bad
some happy & some sad

some kind & others wicked
some dull & others are vivid

how come you can't judge the black from the white ?
& how can't you see the dull from the bright ?

How can't you distinguish the real from the fake ?
& the one who is doing everything just 4 your sake ?

How could u suspect the words or the care?
How could u let go each & every eye stare ?

How could u misjudge the feeling ?
How couldn't it b so revealing ?

Why do we hurt our blvd even without feeling that our words may b so peeling ?
Why couldn't we just leave ourselves to the honest meaning ?

The real meaning behind each word & action
& leave our hearts & souls take the reaction

why couldn't we b more tender ?
On the ones who never fail to remember

if only i could know why do we do this
I'll just be able not to react like this

It is all about believing !!

Why?
That question has to be answered.
Why do people kill each other, hate each other and can’t bear each other?
Why is it that when people feel depressed and lonely, they cannot find anyone to talk to... even their closest friends?
Why do family members get so far apart with everyone living a separate life?
Why do people spend a lot of time searching for good friends but when they find them, it is easy to say Good-bye?
Why don’t people have time to smile but have plenty of it to cry?
Why do people always lie and use masks to hide their real souls?
Why have people become so materialistic and don’t care to just give a poor child one pound with a smile and a nice word that can make his day brighter?
Why do people always consider being faithful, caring and honest as, stupid and don’t understand life in the right way?
Why people have became less religious and do many things opposing our traditions and religions?
Why can’t people forgive and trust?
Why do people always say “It’s not my business” and “I don’t care”?
Why do people feel depressed, lonely, sad, hate, frightened, exhausted, confused, guilty, suspicious, angry hysterical, frustrated, overwhelmed, knowing that all of this would lead them to craziness?

Do you know why? It is because “Allah gives and forgives. Man gets and forgets”

People should not take God’s gifts for granted. They should learn how to undertake the analysis of the obvious. Family members should come closer, friends should know that friendship is a lifetime promise, the rich should give the poor, people should learn how to be honest and faithful and more optimistic.

Hey people, wake up!! Believe in taking God’s gifts but when you get them, try to believe in giving, sharing and loving. The world would sure become a better place because it is all about believing.

When i was four years old: My father is the BEST
When i was six years old: My father seems to know everyone
When i was ten years old: My father is excellent but he is short tempered
When i was twelve years old: My father was nice when i was little
When i was fourteen years old: My father started being too sensitive
When i was sixteen years old: My father can't keep up with modern time
When i was eighteen years old: My father is getting less tolerant as the days pass by
When i was twenty years old: It's too hard to forgive my father. How could mum stand him all these years?

When i was twenty five years old: My father seems to be objecting to everything i do
When i was thirty years old: It's very difficult to be in agreement with my father. I wonder if my grandfather was troubled by my father when he was a youth

When i was forty years old: My father brought me up with a lot of discipline, I must do the same
When i was forty five years old: I'm puzzled, how did my father manage to raise all of us?
When i was fifty years old: It's rather difficult to control my kids, how much did my fatther suffer for the sake of upbringing and protecting us?

When i was fifty five years old: My father was far looking and had wide plans for us, ha was gentle and outstanding

When I became sixty years old: My father is the BEST

It took fifty six years to complete the cycle and return to the starting point "My father is the BEST"
Let's be good to our parents before it's too late and pray to Allah that our own children will treat us even better than the way we treated our parents.

A nail in the fence !!

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back
of the fence.

The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.

The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence.

He said, "You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out it won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there. "

A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one. Friends are very rare jewels, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They lend an ear, they share words of praise and they always want to open their hearts to us."

The Apple Story !!

Girls are like apples on trees.

The best ones are at the top of the tree. The guys don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples that are on the ground that aren't as good, but easy.

The apples at the top think that something is wrong with them, when in reality they are amazing.

They just have to wait for the right person to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree!!

Can you hear me ??

A man feared that his wife was not hearing as good as she used to and he thought she might need a hearing aid. Not sure, how to approach
her, he called the family Doctor to discuss the problem.

The Doctor told him there is a simple informal test the husband could perform to give the Doctor a better idea about her hearing loss.

"Here's what you do," said the Doctor, "stand about 40 feet away from her, and in a normal conversational speaking tone see if she hears you.
If not, go to 30 feet, then 20 feet, and so on until you get a response."

That evening, the wife is in the kitchen cooking dinner, and he was in the den. He says to himself, "I'm about 40 feet away, let's see what happens."
Then in a normal tone he asks, 'Honey, what's for dinner?" No response.
So the husband moves to closer to the kitchen, about 30 feet from his wife and repeats, "Honey, what's for dinner?" Still no response.
Next he moves into the dining room where he is about 20 feet from his wife and asks, Honey, what's for dinner?"
Again, he gets no response so, he walks up to the kitchen door, about 10 feet away. "Honey, what's for dinner?"
Again, there is no response.
Therefore, he walks right up behind her. "Honey, what's for dinner?"
"James, for the FIFTH time I've said, CHICKEN!"

not to believe in love ........
because someone was unfaithful or didn't love u back

to throw away all your chances to be happy......
because u didn't succeed on the first attempt
